Does this sound familiar?
If you make or sell medical devices or lab supplies, you no longer deliver just goods but data as well: to authorities, to hospitals, to procurement systems and to your own shop.
The same data in five places
ERP, EUDAMED, hospital master data pools, punchout catalogues and the shop are maintained separately. Every change has to be repeated in several places.
EUDAMED deadline pressure
Since 28 May 2026, newly placed medical devices must be registered in EUDAMED. Devices that were already on the market and are still being sold must be registered by 28 November 2026. After that, unregistered devices may no longer be placed on the market.
Purchasing through systems, not the phone
Hospitals get article master data from platforms such as the Healthcare Content Data Portal (HCDP). In our assessment, labs and industry often order via OCI or cXML punchout straight from their procurement system.

Inside sales at the limit
Quote requests, spare parts and special orders take time. At the same time, 42% of the member companies surveyed in the BVMed autumn survey 2026 say they struggle to fill sales positions.

Legacy systems
Shopware 5 has received no security updates since 31 July 2024. Other shops depend on old custom solutions that are expensive to maintain.
What we build for you
Product data comes from one source, your ERP or PIM, and flows from there to EUDAMED, to master data pools such as HCDP, to punchout catalogues and to your shop. Use these five building blocks on their own or together.
- Shopware B2B commerceShopware 6 shops for trade customers with net and customer-specific prices, order lists, quick order, quote requests, approval workflows and assortments per country and customer group. Plus migrations from Shopware 5 and other systems. We are a Shopware Silver Partner.
- ERP integrationArticles, prices, stock, orders and customer accounts sync in both directions between ERP and shop. Plus data exports for catalogues (BMEcat), punchout (OCI/cXML) and master data portals.
- AI & automationAI agents that pre-qualify enquiries, prepare quotes and check product data for gaps. Product texts and translations are created with AI support and always go through an approval by your team.
- GEO & visibilityStructured product and expert content, so your products are found and described correctly in classic search engines and in AI search.
- Custom softwareCustomer portals, interfaces and tools for the places where standard software stops.

What this can look like
Three typical flows showing how ERP data reaches authorities, hospitals, labs and inside sales.
Example scenario
Manufacturer with proALPHA or abas
Product master data from the ERP goes to EUDAMED as validated XML and to hospital master data pools as catalogue data. Every submission is versioned.
Example scenario
Lab supplies distributor with Shopware 6
Industrial labs order via OCI or cXML punchout from their procurement system. Prices and stock come live from the ERP.
Example scenario
AI in inside sales
An AI agent captures an enquiry about an unlisted spare part and matches it against the ERP data. It then goes to inside sales with a draft quote, and your team reviews and decides.
Example scenarios, not customer references. They show how such flows are typically set up.
