Bike and e-bike retail
Digital systems for bike and e-bike retail that work together
Shopware shop, inventory system, suppliers, leasing and workshop: connected instead of maintained twice. We are a Shopware Silver Partner and build integrations and AI agents for retailers, multi-store chains and manufacturers.

Where bike retail gets stuck
Less revenue per bike, more work in the workshop, new obligations from 2027. Five places where retailers lose time and margin.
Maintaining data twice
Products, prices and stock are maintained separately in the inventory system, the shop and on marketplaces. Every mistake costs margin and trust.
Workshop at its limit
The phone keeps ringing, appointments are moved by hand, customers ask for status updates, and the team spends less time on bikes. On top of that, industry associations estimate that around 7,500 skilled workers are missing in German bike workshops.

Leasing with manual re-entry
Quotes and customer data are retyped between the leasing portal, the till and the inventory system. That takes time at the counter and causes typos.
Old shop systems, new e-invoicing
Many shops still run on OXID or Shopware 5. From 1 January 2027, German companies with more than €800,000 prior-year revenue must issue e-invoices in B2B business, from 2028 all companies. Invoices to consumers are exempt.

Battery passport for e-bike batteries
From 18 February 2027, newly placed e-bike batteries need a digital battery passport. The duty lies mainly with manufacturers and importers. If you sell batteries under your own brand, you may count as a manufacturer yourself.

What we build for bike and e-bike retailers
Shop, inventory system, supplier data, leasing and AI agent work together. You start where the biggest lever is and expand step by step.
- Shopware 6 for bike retailNew build or migration from Shopware 5 or OXID, store logic, click & collect, size and frame advice and fast categories for large ranges.
- Inventory system integrationIntegration of industry systems such as Tridata (via the TriCon interface) or velo.port and of custom inventory systems: products, stock, orders and customers in both directions.
- Veloconnect and supplier dataMake your suppliers' availability and master data usable via the industry standard Veloconnect, in the shop and in your processes.
- JobRad and leasing integrationLeasing calculator in the shop and, where your systems allow it, data sync via the JobRad Partner API. Less retyping between portal, till and inventory system.
- AI agents and automationA workshop agent for appointment requests, calls, status updates and pre-qualifying repairs. Plus automation in customer service and product data maintenance.
- GEO: visible in AI answersStructured data plus location and workshop content, so ChatGPT, Perplexity and co. mention your store and your models.

What this can look like
Three typical workflows from bike and e-bike retail.
Example scenario
Multi-store retailer with Tridata
A retailer with several stores connects Shopware 6 to Tridata via the TriCon interface. Stock for each store shows in the shop, online orders arrive as orders in the inventory system, and click & collect is assigned to the right store.
Example scenario
Workshop agent
An AI agent takes appointment requests by phone, email and website, suggests free slots from the workshop schedule and keeps customers informed about the status of their job. Complex cases go to the team.
Example scenario
Shop switch after the season
A retailer on Shopware 5 with a large parts range builds Shopware 6 in parallel. Products, customers and order history are migrated, and the inventory system is reconnected. The old shop keeps running until the switch date, and the switch happens after peak season.
Example scenarios show typical workflows, not specific client projects.
