React Native is an open-source framework for building iOS and Android apps from a shared JavaScript or TypeScript codebase. It renders real native controls instead of a web view. When is React Native worth it – and when native development?

React Native pays off when you want to serve iOS and Android from one codebase. For apps with lists, forms, navigation and API connections it is the more economical route. If the app reaches very deep into device features or needs heavy 3D graphics, native development is the better choice.

Do you work with Expo?

Yes. The React Native documentation explicitly recommends a framework for new apps and names Expo. We use it for builds, updates and access to device features. Where a ready-made module is missing, we write a native module ourselves.

Is React Native fast enough?

For the vast majority of apps, yes. The New Architecture has been the default since version 0.76 and the only one since 0.82; the Hermes JavaScript engine is active without extra setup. We measure on real mid-range devices, not just in the simulator.

Can we access the camera, Bluetooth or payments?

Yes. There are modules for device-level features, and where none fits we connect the iOS and Android function through a native module of our own. Push notifications, deep links and analytics are standard.

What happens after the store release?

We handle store approvals, crash reports and updates. React Native maintains the three latest minor series at any time, so we plan regular upgrades. If you want, we hand over code and build pipeline to your team.

What does a React Native app cost?
